Have you considered scheduling a morning engagement session? Most people opt for sunset photos, but for Zach and Britte, morning was what worked out well for their schedules. I have to admit I was a little nervous at first to do a beach session in the morning. The light is much brighter and the beach looks much different than it does at sunset. After this session I fell in love with the way the bright light casts down and creates a whole new experience and requires me to shoot a little differently.
The one thing I love about photography is that there is so much creative freedom for couples planning their engagement photos. While the majority of my couples choose the beach because that is what I specialize in, it doesn’t mean that they have to choose that as their location. The same goes for couples who want to mix it up and capture their session earlier in the day.
