I recently became apart Mission San Juan Capistrano preferred vendor list! I also had the incredible pleasure of capturing Loren and Neil’s engagement session there! It is a place that holds a special spot in my heart as a newly preferred photography member. This historic location, with its rich architecture and lush gardens, perfectly complements their love story.

From the moment we began, Loren and Neil’s connection was undeniable. They have that rare, effortless kind of love that just shines through in every photo. The Mission’s rustic charm and serene atmosphere matched their romantic energy, making each shot feel like a classic love story.

The soft light filtering through the arches added a touch of magic to the photos. Loren and Neil’s natural chemistry made it easy to capture those candid, genuine moments that truly reflect their relationship. As we wandered through the historic and blooming gardens, the couple’s laughter and smiles brought life to the ancient walls. This added to creating a beautiful contrast between the old and the new.

One of my favorite moments from the session was when we explored the iconic Great Stone Church ruins. The grandeur of the crumbling stone walls set against the vibrant California sky was breathtaking. Loren and Neil looked stunning while they embraced against this dramatic backdrop, their love bringing warmth and softness to the rugged setting.

We wrapped up the session as the golden hour bathed the mission in a warm, glowing light. The way the sunlight kissed Loren and Neil’s faces was simply perfect, highlighting the joy and anticipation of their upcoming wedding.
