• Plan ahead! Do your research for the photographer ahead of time. Vacation spots tend to have photographers booked up in advance. Check out their work. Is there a photo you love of theirs?
• Make sure to make time for it. I recommend doing your family photos at the beginning of the trip. Give yourself a day or so to get settled, but don’t wait too long, especially if it’s a beach location. No one wants a sunburn for their family photos
• Trust your photographer for the best spots. You might see a spot you love, but they will have the inside scoop of what location photographs the best.
• Plan outfits – Over are the days of completely matching. Here are the days of color coordinating.
