Ever wanted to bring your dog to your engagement session? When Lauren asked me if they could include their sweet dog Sadie in their session I couldn’t hold in my excitement! I love when couples choose to include their furry best friends! I love how much they love her and each other! I can’t wait for their wedding next year! 

For those of you considering or want bring your dog to your engagement session here are a few tips to making the most out of it!

Make sure to exercise your dog ahead of time! A tired pup usually sits still longer!

Bring treats or your dogs favorite toy! Having something to bride the dog can certainly help keep the dogs attention!

Have a matching leash. This isn’t required, but it helps if the leash isn’t too crazy of colors. 

Bring someone along to help! Bringing a friend or family member to help. As much as we love having dogs in your photos, its great to get a few without them too.
