Tyler and Mckenzie’s Temecula creek inn wedding was one of the most emotional wedding’s ive shot to date. I spent most of the ceremony photographing with teary eyes and a heart full of joy. At their engagement session we spent so much time getting to know each other and finding our deep
Getting Ready
They choose to not do a first look. This gave them plenty of time with their bridal party prior to the ceremony. Mckenzie is a hairstylist, so it is only natural that she would have a hand in working with her moms hair at her wedding.
First look
I mentioned before Tyler and Mckenzie didn’t do a first look, however she decided to do a first look with her bridal party and her grandfather. This is where the emotions of the day began. Mckenzie’s grandfather has battled with some health issues. She mentioned to me that he may not know who she is the day of the wedding. Her grandfather was the one to walk her down the isle, so she wanted to include him in a first look as well.
As she approached her grandfather I wondered what would happen. As he turned towards her embracing her, I began to tear up. I was so overjoyed yet filled with so much emotion, as a month prior I had lost my last living grandfather. I will always remember the looks on their faces and that moment.
Bridal Party
I always tell people that it is a huge honor to be in a bridal party. Yes, it is expensive, and a lot of work, but it is an honor to be apart of the day that will be remembered forever.
Ceremony
I mentioned before that this wedding was emotional, but in such a good way. Mckenzie’s grandfather walked her down the isle, and she shared a sweet moment with her grandmother as she was approaching Tyler. The photos of Tyler seeing Mckenzie walk down the isle are all you need to see the love these two have for each other.
Romantics
Usually Romantics after ceremony don’t leave much time for going anywhere, so its important to pick a venue that has a beautiful scenic view. Temecula Creek Inn has the best golf course view. everything was so green even in the fall. I selfishly love this part of the wedding day. I usually encourage my couples to take a minute or two at the end of the romantics to take in the day and enjoy seeing their guests from afar!
Reception Details
Tyler and Mckenzie’s wedding was entirely outside. They were blessed with the best weather and perfect lighting throughout most of the day. I loved how intimate their Temecula Creek Inn wedding reception felt.
I have yet to taste a better wedding cake, so if you are looking for a delicious cake check out nothing bundt cake! I may be comparing all cakes to theirs now. 😉
The Party
The party was filled with so many kind and loving words, a delicious dinner and a colorful dance party.
