Senior photos are in full swing this spring! I love the excitement these photo sessions bring. Whether you are highschool graduate heading to college or a college grad done with school we are excited to help make this experience the best! For this reason we want to give you simple steps to preparing for your senior photos!
Come prepared with a more formal outfit and a casual one. You can always add more outfit options, but usually having these two types of outfits will give a nice variety. Another thing to consider when planning for your session is to dress true to yourself. If you aren’t someone who likes to be more formal, keep the looks more casual. These photo sessions are all about capturing who you are. I usually encourage people to step a little outside their comfort zones by dressing up a bit more because these photos can also be used for resumes and linkedin profiles.
Helping seniors find the perfect spot for their senior photos is one of my favorite things to do! It gives me a chance to get to know a little about what the person likes and where some of their favorite places are. If you are planning your senior session, think of what types of locations you love. If you spend your summers surfing at the beach, that might be a good indication of the perfect location. With senior sessions we can get a little creative with what we do.
Do you need a little help getting comfortable in front of the camera? Bring a friend to help check your hair and hold your outfits. Sometimes having someone we are comfortable around can help bring out the authentic smiles.
We hope these tips help guide you in the process of planning your session! We are currently booking senior sessions and we can’t wait to meet you! Reach out today to reserve your spot!
