Matt and Alissa’s San Diego wedding was one of the most relaxed wedding days I have been a part of. When I first spoke with Matt and Alissa, they knew they wanted their wedding to feel more relaxed. They had the logistics of the day planned out so well with the help of their wedding planner, Laura of Serendipity Events. I love that this couple valued the experience of the day rather than the details. Although their details were stunning too. In our experience, wedding days can come and go so quickly. Having wedding well planned out with buffer time to actually enjoy the day is key to be able to fully experience your wedding day.
This San Diego wedding was hosted at a private residence. Which, just so happened to be located down the street of a beautiful winery with the perfect sunset view. The soft golden glow made its rare appearance just in time for Matt and Alissa’s vows. If only every sunset was this perfect. Private estates are quickly becoming some of my favorite weddings day spots. We are fortunate enough to have the most amazing venues in Southern California. However nothing beats a beautifully built home and the intimate feel it brings.
