This OC Senior session is not the only reason I get to photograph this family. In less than two months I am photographing Brelynne’s sister’s wedding. Without a doubt, this is a big year for their family now that Brelynne is heading to San Diego State university! I’ve always loved working with families and getting to know everyone it allows me to being apart of their journey some way. With graduation quickly approaching for Brelynne it was the perfect time to get her portraits done! In fact San Juan Capistrano was the perfect fit for Brelynne.

While most of our clients choose to do senior portraits right before graduation, there is no right or wrong time to start planning your session! Sessions can take place at anytime. We recommend aiming for a season that isn’t as busy and stressful to plan your session. Planning your session a couple weeks before graduation may feel a little more hectic. For that reason we aim to capture senior sessions a little earlier to avoid conflicting with finals!

Keep in mind the location you want as well! If you are hoping for a beach session, planning it for the winter may not be as enjoyable. If you have any questions about timing or location, don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We want to make it the best experience possible.
