This wedding is extra special to me. I’ve known Sarah and her family for the longest time. From growing up together in church, from being her small group leader for a decade. Photographing her wedding was such an honor. You can view their beautiful Casa Romantica engagement session on the blog. Now on to Alec and Sarah’s Hilltop Tavern Inn wedding.
There were so many special and meaningful parts of the wedding day. What was the most meaningful was the ring Sarah’s mom gave her. This was a replica of her great grandmothers ring that will be given to each daughter on their wedding day! Family heirlooms are some of the sweetest things a person can give. I don’t personally have many, except a turquoise ring I borrowed from my mom and haven’t given back.
These brides maids were all so beautiful. Two of them are Sarah’s sisters, I will let you figure out which two are her sisters!
I fought all the tears at this ceremony. Sarah’s family has become my family and are very special to me. Watching her dad walk her down the isle and watching Alec gaze at his wife to be with such adoration brought so many happy tears!
This Hilltop Tavern Inn wedding has the best view of the desert. I spent my whole life hating living there, but coming back to photograph Sarah and Alec’s wedding had me second guessing. If you love gorgeous colorful sunsets, living in the desert isn’t so bad. This made their romantics all the more perfect. They are such a gorgeous couple, but with the view they had it just added to the beauty of the day.
I am so lucky to know you both. To have take part in your wedding day! You both are so kind and wonderful people to be around. I love you both and am excited to see what the Lord will do in your marriage.
