When I first met Chris and Kristen it was over a face time call. While I love meeting my couples in person for a consultation, that wasn’t an option for these two as they live in England. After meeting them in person for their engagement session, I knew what to expect for their wedding day at El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano. These two are filled with so much joy and laughter.
One thing was for certain at this wedding is that both families were so thrilled to have these two married, again. While Chris and Kristen had the most beautiful wedding in California, they also held an intimate ceremony in England months prior with close family.
Getting Ready
Kristen got ready in her parents home, while Chris spent his morning at a nearby Air b-n-b. If I can encourage anything for getting ready, It would be to do what suites you as a couple best! I loved that Kristen got ready in the home her parents live in and that she was able to have some of her animals with her while she got ready.
First look
Chris and Kristen’s first look took place at Los Rios Street in San Juan Capistrano, just a short walk from their El Adobe Wedding. It was the perfect near by spot. Can you tell how happy Chris was to see his bride?

The romantics, also known as bridal portraits always goes by way too quickly. For Chris and Kirsten we had the pleasure of exploring a little of what San Juan has to offer, and we were disappointed.
Ceremony at El Adobe
This ceremony was filled with many happy tears, and most of all much love. My favorite part is when one of the flower girls gave a reading.
The Details
El Adobe is a perfect location for a wedding, they have it all, gorgeous garden for the ceremony and a beautiful reception room filled with spanish style decor and a roof that opens up to see the stars! It is those little details that help set the tone for your party!
