Today marks our eighth wedding anniversary. This month we will also celebrate twelve years together. This time has gone by so quickly, yet so much has happened in these last eight years married!

Every year I like to do session of Grant and I. I cherish these so much and know that I will love them even more as the years go on. This time around looked very different. With the pandemic and everything being shut down we didn’t feel like planning out a session or have the ability to go shopping. So this year we decided to do something a little different and keep it super casual. While my dream for a sunny sunset never seems to happen it was perfect. Thanks to my good friend Savannah we were able to have a quick session at one of our favorite local spots. While our outfits may have not been thought out, we made the most of it and I know these images will be a great portrayal of our eighth year married!

This year has been a big adjustment for so many. I am so grateful for the extra time with Grant working from home. It’s taking some adjustments to not want to skip work and just spend the day with him. I know our dogs are extra happy to have him home more often as well!

Today we decided to keep our anniversary a little more casual! So here’s to our eighth wedding anniversary! It looks a lot different than we could have imagined but we are making the most of it!
