Four years have passed since I was in New Jersey. Just right before my husband and I’s first anniversary we flew out to the east coast to witness my lifetime best friend get married. We celebrated our first year married in a beautiful state. This year we celebrated five years of marriage so it was only fitting we headed back to the east coast for another wedding!
Thank you Joe & Allie for having me be apart of your wedding day, and for allowing me to make an excuse for heading back to New Jersey! This excessive heat wave we’ve been having has had me wishing I was back on the east coast! Thank you for also giving me an excuse to visit my best friend!
I’ve been so blessed with calm brides. Allie spent her morning enjoying time with the girls that mattered most to her. There were many details though out the wedding day that were special to Allie and Joe but I think my favorite one was her borrowed veil. It was her mothers. I love when weddings incorporate details that matter. I love the wedding details maybe a little more than I should. The day passes by so quickly, it’s good to have little reminders of the day.
Even the reception had some fun details. The DJ was amazing. From live violin to singing “let it go” from frozen to blow up guitars. I am still trying to figure out who had more fun, the adults or the kids. What do you think?
